Alarm on control panel
- Which LED is lit? Check fault in manual
- Press stop/restart button
- Is the fire hydrant open? The bell will ring when pump is running (close hydrant and press stop/reset)
Cooling loop hose disconnected from engine
- Did engine run? If so, check it has not seized – Engine may need to be replaced
- Is PRV on cooling adjusted correctly?
- Reattach hose securely and retest system
What size plinths?

Pumpset baseplates shall be mounted on concrete plinths with a height not less than 150mm above the floor.
For fixing purposes, the concrete plinth shall extend 150 mm past the edge of the baseplate on all four sides.
Current-carrying parts of motors and fire pump controllers shall be not less than 300 mm from the floor.
