Rainceptor Pre-Tank Filtration System


Rainceptor is a unique high-performance inline rainwater filtration device designed to filter rainwater/stormwater runoff from roof areas up to 6600m with a single unit. Rainwater collected off the roof passes into the Rainceptor which pre-filters larger dirt particles and leaves, which are then washed directly into the stormwater. Pre-filtered water then passes through a secondary filter, screening the water down to 500 microns and clean water flows to your storage tank. This removes high-levels of sediment and reduces the development of E-coli bacteria caused by decomposing leaves and debris building up in your tank. This filtration process also reduces wear on your pumps and mechanical componentry and decreases the regular tank maintenance cycle, thus increasing the life-span of your system as a whole.


Available in a range of sizes and options to suit site-specific requirements, Rainceptor can also be optioned with an automatic backwash system. All systems incorporates the follow features:
